Fairytale-wedding line!

I've been working for kaartje2go for almost 2 years now, and business is booming! It's nice to cooperate with a company what truely appreciates your work!

But a couple of weeks ago, I've received an email from another company in Amsterdam who wanted my cards to be produced and sold trough their national system! They've asked me to make my own wedding-card-line with additional themes. Loving couples can choose and put their own cards together with my shapes, figures and backgrounds! Awesome idea right?

What theme did you think I've chosen? Offcourse, the fairytale-wedding-theme! This is what I've been up to the last couple of weeks during my last spare minutes of the day!

Imagineering in 3D; The guppymobile

My first attempt to make one of my concepts in 3D!

I expected the whole project to be a complete disaster, but it was really easy! Modelling clay is my new best friend! Who would have ever thought I could make a new friend that quickly...

This project needs to dry a couple of weeks. Then I can bring it to the oven, give it his colors, and cover it with an glass/icing layer. Can't wait! But for now, it has to stand on the window sill and guard my apartment for evil intruders.

Truely had a great time at Disneyland Paris, I've seen a lot of techiques they use these days! Good to know what's possible!

I've been working on a mermaid-attraction-concept last couple of years, and this is the first attempt to realise it to 2D illustration! I was thinking to make several attraction-concepts: #1 simple and quick to realise #2 complicated and expensive to realise (this one!) #3 complicated to realise, with a very simple concept.

I'm finally learning to take the time and the skills to get there! Meet T.U.R.G; The Underwater Royal Guppymobile!
